Website design project for a perfume brand, created as part of the Digital Designer course.

The project involved creating a complete concept for a fictional perfume brand inspired by natural landscapes — including art direction, visual identity, and website design. The main challenge was to balance a cohesive design system with distinct visual identities for different products.

Process

01

01

Completion of the Digital Designer course.

02

02

A simplified UX process: creation of personas, user flows, and a sitemap.

Based on that, I defined the studio’s business objectives and user needs, mapping key user journeys such as exploring the offer, checking the schedule, and navigating to the booking flow.

03

03

Visual research and collection of reference materials.

04

04

Selection and editing of visual assets (Pexels), creation of perfume bottle mockups (Photoshop), and copywriting.

05

05

Development of the homepage visual concept, which defined the overall aesthetic direction of the project.

For the visual direction, I developed a minimalist UI based on generous white space, refined typography, carefully curated imagery, and a calm, cohesive color palette aligned with the brand’s positioning.

06

06

Design of a basic design system including typography, color palette, components, and composition principles.

07

07

Expansion of additional views while maintaining system consistency and differentiating the visual character of each fragrance line.

08

08

Design of interactions and microanimations, including a hero animation and animations within product sections.

Key Takeaways

The project taught me how to think more systematically and maintain visual consistency across multiple views and product lines. It also helped me better understand how to balance a cohesive design system with distinct visual identities for different products.

Since the project was created as part of a course, it did not include testing with real users. If I were to develop it further, I would conduct usability testing to validate design decisions and better adapt the experience to user needs.
